Look of the Day: Missing the Waves

Work has been very stressful lately and all I wanted to do was go to the beach and listen to the waves as it moves on the shore. When I was looking for the outfit for that day, I ended up longing for flowers, greens, and trees. So I decided to wear a look that belongs to the Summerland - but I also have to keep in mind that it should also fit the dress code at work. I saw my leaf skirt and I felt that it matches the top that I'm wearing. I don't normally wear whites because I look fat. (I know! I'm already fatter compared to other Fashion bloggers, and I hate how I can't stop eating sweets! X$)

However, I stood up to my usual dark mantra and chose this white top to put a little light feel on my outfit. I was looking for the perfect cover up since the top is sleeveless, so I saw this old jean jacket that I have since college, I put it over to see if it looks nice. Well it complimented the outfit because of the green, pink, and white combination. But if I had the money and time, I would've wanted to wear a light blue jean jacket on this ensemble. ♥

How about you, what's your Summer get-a-way outfit?
